Enigma Photoshoot

Enigma photos are available for purchase! http://www.pictage.com/632668

Last night I had the opportunity to host a live photo shoot at Enigma Cafe in Norwalk, CT. My subjects consisted of a couple of models, and DJ's seeking portraits. My set up for these shoots was simple one Canon 580EX held high by my assistant Joe, and my Canon 5D and Canon 24-70 2.8L. It was a bit impromptu, but the results speak for themselves.

A note to the models/DJ's : Contact me for the other edits and usage rights.

I am also available for live show coverage, nightlife photography coverage and Portraiture.

Erin & Kasia :: Photoshoot

So, I had this idea about shooting two models in a shoot that resembled childhood play, with an edgy, sexy feel to it. I wanted to shoot in a location that added to that feel... So I located a house that was perfect for the shoot, the only thing was that the house was fenced off and marked with a Notice to Demolish. I knew I had to act fast, so I contacted two models that I had worked with in the past, Kasia and Erin, two great girls, I explained my thoughts, and we went on to shoot. The girls squeezed through the fence, and about 15-20 minutes later we had the shots.
During this shoot I was limited as to what equipment could be used. I shot through the fence using my Canon 20D, Canon 70-200 2.8L IS, and a Canon 580EX on camera. Yet another successful shoot!

Kasia :: Photoshoot

While organizing my files, I came across these photos. The model is Kasia, I shot her on-location in Stamford, CT using my Canon 20D, Canon 24-70 2.8L, 1 strobe with an XL softbox (key) and a strobe with a 30 degree grid as a kicker light all triggered by Pocket Wizards. It was a fun shoot, as usual!

Mike's "1.8 Nutting" :: Photoshoot

I Had a chance to shoot Mike's "1.8 Nutting" this evening. It was a quick shoot. I shot the car with my Canon 5D and my 50 1.8 & 24-70 2.8L. I used 1 studio strobe and a 580EX for lighting and settings were in the 1/60 - 1/25 range, f4 - 2.8 at iso 250. All in all it was a good shoot, it was a bit rushed due to high winds, late start, night setting in earlier than anticipated, but some great shots were achieved and Mike was happy.
